Administrators’ responsibility for decisions made during the pandemic

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the adverse effects that the government’s emergency decree has caused on companies, administrators have been involved in making decisions that do not necessarily protect the interest of society; Rather, they revolve around protecting workers, the community, and the company’s livelihood. This increases the possibility that shareholders or third parties take actions against them, since many decisions that must be taken as a consequence of covid-19 have a different motivation than to benefit society and increase its profits, for which reason It is necessary to analyze the responsibility to which administrators may be subject in order to safeguard themselves.
